There were smiles all round after our Randwick Petersham 2nd thumped Eastern Suburbs 2nd.
Eastern Suburbs 2nd set the target, making 133 from 40.4 overs. Adam Sidhu passed fifty for our opponents, finishing with 71. The wickets were shared around, with Josh Lock taking two for 23. Adam Leckey offered good support with two for 23.
In reply, the team reached the target at 0/137 in 22.5 overs. Blake Weymouth's 76 not out off 66 balls was a half-century to remember. Ross Elliot posted a half-century, making 55 not out off 72 balls with five fours and one six.
A well-deserved win for the side.
Great work, everyone.
