It was one to learn from for our Randwick Petersham 2nd, who were edged out by Sutherland 2nd in NSW Premier Cricket (Men's).
We batted first and finished with 224 on the board from 49.4 overs. Ross Elliot batted well for 49 off 65 balls with six fours. Ryan A Cattle did the damage for Sutherland 2nd with three for 36. Flynn Parker picked up three for 55 for the hosts.
Our opponents knocked off the runs, finishing on 9/227 in 44 overs. The hosts' best was a half-century from Lucas Sheehy, who made 50. There were 44 from Kobe Ross for our opponents. Adam Leckey returned figures of four for 43 off eight overs. Ben Mitchell weighed in with three for 46 off ten overs.
There are plenty of positives to take out of this one. Congratulations to the hosts on the win.
