It was one to learn from for our Randwick Petersham 4th, who were second best against UNSW 4th in one to put behind us.
We batted first and finished with 8/261 on the board from 48 overs. Callum Linsley brought up a good half-century, finishing with 60 off 73 balls. Marcus D’Ambrosio provided good support with 39. Don Dulaj Dasanayake was the main threat for UNSW 4th, taking four for 33.
In reply, our opponents passed our total, finishing on 5/262 in 46.5 overs. Credit to Danny Bhandari, who made a century (110) for the visitors. Benjamin Stares grabbed three for 62.
There were some polished individual efforts to build on.
Congratulations to our opponents on the win.
