It was smiles all round as our Randwick Petersham Men's Kingsgrove Sports T20 saw off Fairfield-Liverpool T20 at Bill Ball Oval in Kingsgrove Sports T20 Cup & Kingsgrove Sports Poidevin-Gray Shield.
With the bat first up, we compiled 6/171 from 20 overs. A classy 71 off 54 balls from Param Uppal was the highlight. Austin Waugh also got among the runs with 31 off 28 balls. For Fairfield-Liverpool T20, Jai Long took three for 25 off four overs.
Chasing 172, the hosts reached 8/158 from 20 overs. Credit to Jaydyn Simmons, who made a half-century (59) for our opponents. Brent Williams added 34 for the hosts. Luke Callanan bowled beautifully to finish with four for 25.
Contributions came from right through the line-up.
Congratulations to the side on a terrific result.
