Good news from our Randwick Petersham Men's Kingsgrove Sports T20, who accounted for Fairfield-Liverpool at Harold Fraser Reserve on Saturday.
Fairfield-Liverpool batted first and reached 6/142 from 20 overs. Arjun Nair was the top scorer for our opponents with 47. Daniel Sams bowled cleverly to finish with two for 27.
In reply, the team reached the target at 5/143 in 18.3 overs. Austin Waugh played a stylish hand of 37 off 35 balls. Eknoor Singh played a handy knock of 33. Liam Hatcher bowled well for the hosts, taking three for 39.
It was a brilliant all-round effort, with contributions from right through the line-up. A day to enjoy for everyone at Randwick Petersham.
