There was plenty to celebrate as our Randwick Petersham 4th knocked over Gordon 4th by 45 runs at Chatswood Oval on Saturday.
We set Gordon 4th a target of 185, finishing on 4/184 from 20 overs. Fifty for Damian Sidney, who finished with 57 off 37 balls. Kaisei Doggett made 47 off 28 balls. Tom Holland was unbeaten on 36 off 30 balls.
Needing 185, our opponents finished on 7/139 from 20 overs. Credit to Madhav Saki, who made 48 for the hosts. With the ball, Hardeep Kumar did the damage, claiming two for 19 off four overs. There were also wickets for Doggett (two for 30).
Contributions came from right through the line-up. Onwards and upwards.
