There were smiles all round after our Randwick Petersham 2nd beat Hawkesbury 2nd at home on Saturday.
We kept Hawkesbury 2nd to 214 from 49.4 overs. Credit to Shanmugan Subramanian, who made a half-century (76) for our opponents. The visitors also got 45 from Riley Wilson. Mitchell O'Loughlin was the pick of the bowlers, taking three for 43 off ten overs.
In reply, the group reached the target at 7/218 in 45.2 overs. Ross Elliot passed fifty on the way to 54 with six fours and one six. Ben Montedoro made 49. Manan patel was the main threat for our opponents, taking three for 61.
Big runs from our top order made the difference. That's back-to-back wins for the side.
Well played, all.
