It was a good day out for our Randwick Petersham Gold, who got up against Blacktown on Saturday in Male Metropolitan Cup.
Randwick Petersham Gold 10/228, Blacktown 10/133 was the final tally. Daniel Reypert posted a half-century, making 60 off 67 balls with nine fours. Solid support came from Aviraj Pal, who made 40. Isaac Jose-Tomy played a handy knock of 33. For our opponents, Akhil Sharma Nemalladhinne took three for 37 off ten overs.
The visitors' best was a half-century from Azaan Syed, who made 70. Ben Williams grabbed three for 8.
Big runs from our top order made the difference. The winning run now stretches to three games.
Well done, team.
